Originally from a small town in Northeast Nebraska, Jim’s strong work ethic was shaped early on through his work in the construction industry. He attended Northeast College in Norfolk, NE, where he earned an associate degree in Architectural Design and Surveying. After college, Jim quickly realized that a job behind a drafting desk was not for him, so he returned to the construction field, eventually advancing to the roles of job superintendent and foreman. In the early 1990s, Jim transitioned into sales, where he leveraged his construction expertise. His sales career eventually came full circle, combining his background in construction with his growing knowledge of the real estate market. Jim obtained his real estate license in 2004 and, almost immediately, began specializing in new home sales. When Andy purchased the company in 2009, Jim became a part-time member of the staff, serving as a valuable resource to agents working with builders and handling new home transactions. As the business grew, so did Jim's role, evolving into a full-time position and later into the role of Facilities Director. Beyond his professional life, Jim is passionate about community service and his faith. Of all his diverse life experiences and job titles, his most cherished role is that of father to his daughter and son-in-law, and grandfather to his two young granddaughters. Spending time with family is Jim’s favorite pastime.
