Cindy was born and raised in Arlington, NE, and moved to Omaha in 1997. Prior to joining Embarc, she spent nearly 25 years working as a bookkeeper at a public accounting firm. After years of managing the hectic tax season schedule, Cindy sought a change and found the opportunity to transition into the accounting department at Nebraska Realty. While the prospect of starting fresh after such a long tenure in one role was initially intimidating, she has found the transition to be both rewarding and fulfilling. Cindy is married and has three children, ages 16, 14, and 8, which keep her busy with a variety of activities. She enjoys spending time with her family at home and loves attending the different events and interests her children are involved in. Outside of family time, Cindy enjoys walking the family dog, Louie, socializing with neighbors, and finding the occasional moment to relax on her own.
